Why Coram Deo?

We live our lives "coram deo," before the very face of God, whether we realize it or not.  More important is whether we choose to live our lives as a reflection of that reality; knowing with the fullness of our being that the fullness of our God exists in every thought, every action, and every word that transpires on this earth.  This blog is a reflection of a life attempted to be led "coram deo" in a God-pleasing, God-glorifying, humble, Cross-centered manner.  I know to a level deeper than my heart, to my very soul, that our God, who created the universe, who spoke everything into existence by a single word, who designed and executed a plan for the redemption of those whom He would choose to save, lives inside me and knows me better than I know myself.  He knows my sinfulness.  He knows my pride.  He knows my hate, my lust, my callousness, my selfishness, and He knows how desperately I needed salvation.  That God fashioned the perfect story of human history, perfectly fashioned to give all the glory to Himself and demonstrate His perfect love, perfect justice, perfect mercy, and perfect grace.  That story culminates for each of those He foreknew and predestined in the Cross of Jesus Christ, His Son, our Lord and Savior.
